Biography
American skater, a winner of championship awards from 1997 at age 17. Skating from the age of five, she won her first competition at nine. By the time she was 15 she was competing with the senior skaters.
Though Cavanaugh has a supportive family, it has not been easy. She teaches skating at the New England sports Center in Marlboro to help with expenses of training and meets. In 2000, she attempted a pairs career with Matthew Evers before he retired and moved to Hollywood, then, during an easy jump, she twisted her back. The pretty, 5 ft 1 inch blonde has a brother and a sister rooting for her.
